After years of trying out products for my hair to get it to grow long, I discovered that the secret to having really (and I mean really) long hair was actually not “which products should I use?” but in “which should I avoid?’. That might sound weird, but it gets back to how you view your body and the mindset you have toward hygiene. Instead of treating hair as a fashion accessory, why not consider it a very part of yourself and your very being? Instead of thinking of your body as defective, broken, dirty, or messy, why not give yourself a chance and see how well your body can shine all on its own?
Your body is actually rather capable of regulating itself. The unfortunate reality is that a lot of modern haircare products are designed with the assumption that you won’t grow your hair past your shoulders. Yikes! Sounds awful, but it’s true. To get the quality and health I sought for my hair, I realized I had to fundamentally change how I took care of my hair, and this included ditching modern, Western notions on how to wash your hair.
While it’s in my blog that I go into detail the “why”s and “how”s of my haircare routine, here you will find the list of what I actually use on a daily and weekly basis. Because I consider health to be a wholistic idea, you will also find some products that I incorporate into my diet as much as you will find products directly intended for my hair
While I work to individually list them in this page, I thought it would be helpful if I already shared an Amazon product list and an iHerb product list that I’ve been cobbling together.

Feel free to check out what’s in those lists, and be sure to read up how I use them as posts about each product come up in my blog. Thanks! 🙂
